Mrs Perdue, her pupils and Mrs Slattery spent a lovely morning in Coolmore this morning. The sun shone and our guide Jason was brilliant. We learnt that the stallion Galileo can earn €350,000 every time he helps make a baby. The mare is pregnant for eleven months and then can get pregnant nine days after giving birth! Each horse is looked after the same way. We met the dentist who comes to Coolmore twice a year to clean the horses teeth. It is very important that the horses can chew their food properly. We saw the stallion, Mastercraftsman, who had been washed and we saw his stable. Every stable is cleaned every day. The sheep on the farm keep the grass cut. It was a very interesting place and we all enjoyed our trip. We stopped in the park in Fethard for our lunch.
