History came to life in the school hall. Mike
Moylan gave the talk. We saw helmets, guns,
swords, axes and bows and arrows. He showed
us how to make fire with some wood and string.
We learned about the stone age, bronze age and
iron age. It was on at 9:30 in the morning. We
learned that butter used to be stored in the bog
because they had no fridges. We put on animal
skin. We learned that they chase their prey off
cliffs. We discovered they caught fish in basket.
At the end we got to try on armour and examine all
the weapons. Ms Butler took pictures of us.
They used flint on their weapons. Mike told us to
not do helicopters or not to sword fight. Mike was
funny. It was cool
