The votes are in and counted! And we have a new student council. After an exciting contest that often went down to the wire, we have eight new members on the student council. Well done to all our candidates. They all ran a clean and fair campaign that involved canvassing, posters, election promises, manifestos and class speeches. I would like to thank all the boys who put their names forward – a brave thing to do. Perhaps their experience of going for election will help them in the next campaign. The eight new members of the Student Council will be in office until June. They have received their “Seal of Office” and their Student Council badges are currently in the post. We wish them the very best of luck in their new positions. They will meet with Mr Ryan once a month where they will have an opportunity to discuss school issues that relate to their classes.
