The Post Office and the Courthouse
It was a very exciting day for the boys in Ms Ryan and Mrs Crosse's classes. The boys were to visit the Post Office at 10:00am. It was a beautiful morning as we all walked down town. While we were waiting to go into the Post Office, Sergeant Carol O' Leary from the Garda station came across to talk to the boys. She invited us all into the courthouse. It was very exciting and she explained about solicitors and judges. We then proceeded to the Post Office and the post lady explained about her day. Some people have to be in work at 6am and others at 7am. The boys from each class had a letter to post and it was Luke and Cameron who had the honour of posting them. It was then back to school on a lovely sunny day. Thanks to everyone who helped make it such an enjoyable visit.
