Sr Nuala Visits School As Part of Catholic Schools Week
Sr Nuala visited our school to talk about missionaries and their work. She lived in India as a missionary nun for 27 years. Here are some things I learned. by Jack McGrath Differences between the lives of the children in India and Ireland. In Ireland we have bigger posh houses and in India they only have small houses. In India they only get paid 10 cent a day and in Ireland they get paid 100 euro a day. That is a big difference. It is a hard life in India but the children are very happy. India they only eat curry and rice. They couldn't eat chicken curry because they don't have the money. Only posh and wealthy people can eat chicken curry. It is very hot in India and it is cold and mostly raining in Ireland.
