Sports Day Schedule 2013

Please find below a schedule of events for our sports day this Friday. Sports Day Schedule 2013 (weather permitting) 9.20-9.50  Fancy Dress in the Halla (Boys come to school dressed for fancy dress) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 9.50-10.05 Up to classroom to change for sports day -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 10.15-11.00   Sprints          Sack Race            Egg and Spoon              Penalty Shoot Out (4 goals for junior classes, 2 goals for senior classes) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 11.00-11.15 – SOS (Teachers/Parents/Helpers in Halla for tea) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 11.15-12.00   Sprints          Sack Race            Egg and Spoon              Penalty Shoot Out (4 goals for junior classes, 2 goals for senior classes) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 12.00-12.30 Long Race Heats ½ lap – JI and SI                     1 lap – 1^st and 2^nd class 2 laps – 3^rd and 4^th class       3 laps - 5^th and 6^th class 2 heats, five from each heat qualify for the final.  After their run, the class can go for lunch in their classroom.     

  1pm to 1.30pm Finals of Long Race (Infants at stations after their race) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.30-1.50pm Overhead Pass (All participate) -Ice-cream van to start serving after the overhead pass (approx 1.50pm onwards) -Infants go first to ice-cream van and then go inside with ice-cream until the Tug O’ War is over.   -First and Second to stations or watch tug o’ war  -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.50-2.30pm Tug O’ War (8 per team) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.30pm to 3pm Medal Ceremony 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd  team Winners and Fancy Dress Winners
