On April the 8th 16 boys travelled to Littleton to play in a Soccer Blitz. ( 5th and 6th class boys). Bobby, James and l were the managers. Mrs Slattery was my assistant manager. Mr Ryan was skipping from team A to team B to make sure everything was running smoothly.
My B team played four matches with six minutes aside in each match. In our first match we played a school from Tipp Town and the score was 5-0 in their favour. In our second match we played against Cahir and we won 3-1. In our third match we played Scoil Ailbhe and the score was 3-1 to us. In our last match we won 6-0 and we just missed out on one match to get to the semi final. Our other team A lost two matches and won two. They had one great win against St Peter's and Paul school with a score of 4-0.
My team were very proud of me and carried me off the pitch to express their thanks to me as their brilliant manager.
On the way home we stopped of at the Horse and Jockey and Mr Ryan very kindly bought us all icecream. We got back to school at 2 o'clock . We all really enjoyed the day out at the Soccer Blitz.
