Last Friday (19 June) saw the boys from 1st to 6th hit for Leahy Park to compete in the school hurling league finals for 2015.
Paddy and PJ had prepared everything to perfection and there was an air of excitement as the boys prepared to battle it out in nine finals.
The A finals were the most prized as the captains got to take home the cups! There were medalsf for all boys thanks to Cashel King Cormacs who also provided a treat for the boys after the finals were finished.
A long pull (1st/2nd) and long puck (3rd to 6th) was organised by Paddy and PJ as well.
A special word of thanks to these two men for their dedication to the school over the last year and to Paddy in particular who has given a huge amount of time to Gaelic Games in our school over the past few years. His son Evan will move on to secondary school in August. Go raibh maith agat Paddy.
