SCHOOL HURLING LEAGUE 2012 DETAILS

GROUP STAGES 1^st and 2^nd class League Junior League 3^rd and 4^th Senior League 5^th and 6th Group games to be played off on Weds 30 May, 6 June and 13 June in conjunction with the hurling coaches. 3^rd/4^th class league games will be between 9.30 and 11am, 1^st/2^nd will be between 11.15 and 12.30. 5^th/6^th class will be between 1 and 3pm. The length of the group games is at the discretion of the teachers and coaches.

FINALS There will be an A, B and C final in each league. All participants will get a medal. The winners of each ‘A’ final will win the Cup, presented to the captain. ALL finals will be 16 mins. 8 mins a side. They will be played in Leahy Park on Wednesday 20 June. Top two play each other in the A final. 3^rd and 4^th play in the B final. 5^th and 6^th play in the C final.

RULES 3 points for a win, 2 points for a draw, 1 point for taking part. 1^stand 2^nd class ground hurling only. No soloing in junior and senior leagues. In the event of two teams ending the group stages on the same number of points, we will first take into account head to head matches and then the scores got. ALL SCORES, BE IT A GOAL OR POINT, ARE WORTH THE SAME.
