Retirement Night

On Thursday, October 17th, the whole school community at St John the Baptist Complex gathered together to celebrate the retirement of our caretaker William Halley. It was also an opportunity to say farewell to our secretary Edilene as she departs for Mullingar. It was a lovely night and the three Principals, Mary Andrews, Elma Cooke and Will Ryan paid glowing tributes to both members of staff and Board of Management members also made presentations. Pupils from all three schools created a video montage to thank Mr Halley. It was great to have the Halley family present on the night and we wish both staff members all the best in the future.
