Rang 3/4 School Tour 2011

by Ricky Lambe Rang 4 The 23 of June was the date.  It was a nice, bright and sunny morning.  It was a great day to have a school tour.  I got up really early.  I already had my bag packed and my mum and I went to the shop.  I couldn't wait as we were going to Dublin. We waited at school at around 8.30am  Third class went with us, but they were on a different bus.  On the bus I sat beside my friend Wojciech.  The busy journey took around two and a half hours. We got to Croke Park first where we met our tour guide, Cian.  He was really nice and kind. We watched highlights of the All-Ireland Hurling final 2009! Mrs Carroll was happy. We weren't!  We went around Croke Park and, while we were walking, Cian told us alot of history about the grounds.  We then had lunch. After lunch, we got on our bus and we went to Viking Splash.  We met a very nice funny man who was out tour guide.  WE was interesting also and gave us lots of facts about the Vikings.  We go to wear cool Viking helmets.  I sat beside James.  It was fun when we got into the water.  It was also fun when we got to roar at people in the middle of the street.  One man got a big shock and started laughing. I had great fun on the Viking Spash.  We got on the bus in around 10 minutes we were singing with the microphone.  It was very funny.  I had a great time on my school tour. Enjoy the pictures of our busy day.
