Before the Easter holidays, our hard working Parent Association presented us with a cheque for €1500 to go towards increasing our CAPER books library. Each class has a box which has a wide variety of titles of many different genres. We are encouraging all parents to make sure that each boy in the school reads for at least ten minutes for enjoyment Monday to Thursday. CAPER stands for CHILDREN AND PARENTS ENJOY READING. If at all possible, an adult should read the book with the boy and the focus at all times should be on the enjoyment of the book rather than getting every word exactly right. Thanks again to the PA for all their hard work throughout the year on behalf of all the boys.
