Congrats to John Ryan, Rang 3, for being the winner of our Green Schools Energy Code competition. As part of the seven steps to achieving our second Green Flag, we held a competition to design a code that would raise awareness of saving energy both in the school and at home. John beat off stiff competition from Jamie O' Keefe ("Be The Man Of The Hour, Turn Off The Power") and Gavin Aherne ("Turn Off The Solas, Dún an Doras") with his catchy code "SAVE ENERGY WITH YOUR HEART AND SOUL, GET THAT FLAG ON TOP OF THE POLE"
