MISERY IN MUNROE!
Tuarisc - Na Buachaillí i Rang 4 It was a wet and windy day in Cashel when we boarded the bus for Monroe at 11.15am on Thursday 17 November. We were there about ten minutes before throw in between St John the Baptist Boys NS Cashel and Powerstown. Our school looked very well, togged out in their smart blue and yellow jerseys and matching socks and shorts. Our opposition were togged out in red and white. We were against the wind in the first half and conditions were terrible. We had to watch the match from the bus! Powerstown got off to a great start scoring the first point. By half time we were down 1-3 to no score. Our boys came out all fired up for the second half. But luck was against us and even Rodrigo’s penalty was saved. It was a great second half performance but it just wasn’t to be our day. The final score was 1-4 to 0-1. Well done to all the boys and their trainers. Ye did us proud! We’ll be back next year.
