The boys from Junior Infants welcomed their grannies and grandad into school on Thurs 3 Feb as part of the Catholic Schools week celebrations. This was a lovely opportunity for the boys and their grandparents to share stories, play games and have a cup of tea together! Thanks to class teacher, Ms Catriona Condon, and to SNA Mrs Liz Bourke for their efforts in organising the afternoon and to William our caretaker for looking after the scones and biscuits. A lovely afternoon was had by all and we look forward to welcoming more grandparents into our school in years to come! Enjoy the pictures below!
God bless my grandparents - they're kind and gentle. They are not like other people who are completely mental. They would always offer you something to eat; If there was a fire on they would say, 'Put up your feet'!
