by Eoghan Connolly and Michael O’ Meara We got up at 9:00 a.m. to get ready for our day of handball. It took us a while to get ready to hit the road! The journey there took us an hour and a half. When we arrived we went into the alley and started arming up for the games. Michael O Meara played the first game for Cashel. he won his game easily. Eoghan and Jamie played their game next and won easily. We had a break then and played in the dressing room. Michael played again and on his match. We then went for something to eat and drink. The girls played their matches next. Unfortunately, Michael was beaten in his next game and he was out of the competition. Eoghan and Jamie then lost their doubles match so that was the end of the road for the U11 team. We had a great day even though we didn't win out in the end. It was our first time going to these championships and good experience for next year.
