On the 11th of May, Cashel played Killenaule in the under 13 hurling championship. Cashel got off to a good start with a few early goals. There was great passing and movement from all players. At half time Cashel were leading 6-8 to 2 points. In the second half Cashel brought in some younger players. Cashel stayed strong and stayed in control for the remaining half. A lot of younger players showed great skill, players such as Mickey Delaney, Tommy Fitzgerald, Kevin Gayson Molloy and Aaron Maloney. The end score was 8-13 to 2-2. It was a good performance from both teams. Cashel will now be playing a semi final against one of St.Olivers, St.Marys or Tipp CBS.
