Bird Boxes in Sixth

Bird Boxes in Sixth

by Laisvunas Vaitiekatis On Tuesday everyone got a plastic bag with all the sides and we had to assemble them ourselves with a screwdriver. Most of us brought in screwdrivers and the screws were already in the holes, so we just had to set up our birdhouses and tighten the screws.Last week 6th Class were making bird houses. On Monday we measured all the sides and marked them with a pencil in pairs, and then we gave them to William our caretaker who cut them. Everyone worked in pairs while we were assembling our bird houses. The hole in the birdhouse was made for a House Sparrow. William came when we were assembling the birdhouses to help us. We gave him a thank you card for helping us, and everyone in the class signed it. We also got to paint them. We camouflaged them using colours like green and brown. After all the paint dried, we went outside and took a picture. Everyone really enjoyed making their birdhouse.
