A FINAL NOTE BEFORE SCHOOL IS OUT!

A FINAL NOTE.... Here is the staffing schedule for2013-14. Teaching Staff 2013-14 Junior Infants – Caitríona Crosse Senior Infants – Sharon Sheahan & Miriam Hannigan First Class – Helen Butler (Mrs Butler will start maternity leave in September)  Mr Molloy, current first class teacher, will substitute. Second Class – Catherine Kelly Third Class – Lucy Ryan Fourth Class – Kathrine Carroll Fifth Class - Sarah Costigan Sixth Class – Jennifer O’ Farrell Special Education Teachers – Sharon Perdue, Sinead Mullins and Bríd Callanan We say goodbye to Ms Catriona Condon who has secured a permanent job in the CBS Boys Primary School in Kilkenny City.  Thank you to Ms Condon for all her fantastic work in our school over the past number of years.  We, and the boys, will miss her greatly! We welcome back Mrs Sheahan after two years, and also welcome her job sharing colleague Ms Miriam Hannigan.  We wish them both the very best in their new role with our Senior Infants. Mr John Knightly RIP We offer our deepest condolences to our colleague Mrs Lucy Ryan on the recent passing of her father John.  Mr Knightly was a former principal of our school, and played a huge role in the education of countless boys in the town of Cashel throughout his long and distinguished career.  Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dilís. Whole School Assembly Our final whole school assembly will take place this Thursday at 11.15am in the school halla.  Parents are very welcome to attend. Book Rental and School Collection Don’t forget the dates for collecting the books if you have ordered them through Stakelums (blue order form) – Weds 17 July from 2-5pm and 5.30-8pm Also book rental fee is overdue.  Last chance – Friday. School Report You should, by now, have received a copy of your son’s school report.  If you haven’t, please contact the school office.
